It really stinks when your love handles hang over the sides of your work out shorts. Those things are stretchy, there should be not extra fluff bulging over. However, mine have fluff. My Tshirt sticks to the crease the elastic makes. It ain't pretty my friends, not pretty. You would think the FOUR weddings I am in this summer might motivate me but thus far, I am STILL not working out. But that is about to change. My friend Cassi has inspired me. Her latest blog posts talked about the wonders of the Jillian Michaels DVDs.
So what did the internet shopaholic do?
I bought it.
It's arriving in the mail tomorrow.
I was once an athlete. I was in pretty decent shape. I could at least run without feeling like I might puke and die. I honestly have not run a step since I found out I was pregnant with CK, almost TWO YEARS ago. I signed up for a "Fit Camp" at the base and went the first day. It was at 5AM and CK wasn't sleeping through the night. I thought if I paid money I would drag it out of bed and go - WRONG!
I am going to die, but it's going to be good.
So who is with me? I need some work out accountability. Are you in? If I can get 15 comments of people willing to take the plunge with me I will post before pictures (along with the afters) so you can laugh. And see how awesome Jillian Michaels is. And there could be a random Jillian Michaels giveaway to a lucky winner.
Then again, there could be a Jillian Michaels used "30 Day Burn" DVD giveaway if I decide to quit, too. Guess we'll just have to see what happens.

ReplyDeleteI'm in! I wanted to get started on my Total Body DVD by Jillian, so this is great timing! Trying to lose baby weight, and knowing someone else is doing it too is very motivating! I think I'll post progress updates on my blog (not sure about pics...maybe I'll get brave and do it, but yikes!).

ReplyDeleteHey Rachael. I do love being a "girl" mom!I'm sure I would love being a mom to boys too, but my girls are awesome. Your little one is just darling! I'm starting the workout this morning. It's a good thing since the girls are on "spring break" from preschool this week, I haven't been to the gym at all.
